[Zoho Expense] What is Policy Violation?
When an admin has set up the expense policy for the organization and assigned the policy to all users, it will automatically detect if the user has violated the expense policy when they want to submit their expenses.
Below are several reasons that can be due to policy violation:
- Expense amount limit - This occurs when the expense amount exceeds the maximum amount that has been set up.
- Receipt required amount - Any expense amount that is greater than the allowed amount that has been set up should attach a receipt.
- Description - If the description is set as mandatory, then the user should describe the expense clearly.
- Expired expense - If the expense you submit is expired, then it will be considered a policy violation.
- Uncategorized expense - All expenses should be tied to the category related. If not, the expense is considered a policy violation.
