[Zoho Books] What is Batch Tracking? and How to Use it?

Batch tracking allows you to keep track of your goods in batches to monitor batch number, manufacturing date and expiry date. This function would enable you to keep track of your goods in which batch it belongs in the event of goods damages or default. Lets take a look at how you can utilize this function in zoho books.

To began you are require to enable batch tracking under setting:



Now you can start to create goods with batch tracking under item module. You are require to fill in your inventory details and to enable track batches which then you are able to create your goods in batches.




* You are not be able to create batch tracking on goods with existing transaction. However editing your existing goods without any transaction to enable batch tracking is permissible.

You can view your newly created goods with batch tracking under batch details:
