The main feature in Zoho Billing is subscription management to manage subscription transaction.
To begin utilizing this feature you are required to create Subscription Items under Product Catalog module which include:
1. Product Name
2. Description
3. Notification Mail Address
as shown in the figure below:
Notification mail address field is to allow notification about the product to be send to the respective email address.
Next you can start to Add Plan, Add Addon and Add Coupon to your subscription plan. Before that lets gain insight of what is Add Plan, Add Addon and Add Coupon.
1. Add Plan - Subscription item or service to be offered
2. Add Addon - Additional item or service to be added to the main subscription plan
3. Add Coupon - To provide discount or special offers to your subscription plan
Now you can Add Plan as show in the figure below:
You may enter the required relevant details for your subscription plan as shown in the figure below:
You are able to specify the billing frequency: weekly, monthly and yearly. You are also be able to setup Free Trial and Setup Fee:
1. Free Trial - Once subscription plan has been subscribed to your customer no subscription plan will be charge until the Free Trail has expired.
2. Setup Fee - One time cost to be charged to your customer inclusive of your customer first subscription plan bill

Next you may Add Addon as shown in the figure below:
You may enter the required relevant details for your Addon as shown in the figure below:
Next you may Add Coupon as shown in the figure below:
You may enter the required relevant details for your Coupon. You are able to select redemption type which consist the following:
1. One Time - Only one time type of redemption
2. Forever - No redemption expiration
3. Limited number of times - Redemption valid until reaches the number that has been set
Now after you have completed setting up Plan, Addon and Coupon your subscription plan is all set!
