[Zoho Desk] Preview Field Visibility
Zoho is pleased to announce an option to preview how fields are visible to different user profiles when they have permission-based access.
Administrators can set field permission for different user profiles based on the business requirement and the sensitivity of the data. It allows them to protect confidential data from unauthorized access.
Fields can be set for different profiles as:
- Read Only
- Read & Write
- Don't Show
The "Preview" option enables administrators to see how these field settings will appear in the layout for different user profiles. For example, administrators can set the Phone number field to be read-only for users with agent profiles and read/write for support administrators.
The preview option is available when editing the layout, providing administrators with a visual representation of field visibility for different profiles. This feature enhances data security and customization options for administrators, ensuring that sensitive information is appropriately protected and visible to the right user profiles.
