Hello everyone!
Zoho has taken a step further and introduced the ability to expose webforms as links or QR codes. Publishing format now includes both these formats. Earlier, you could only embed the webform or use it in iFrame in your webpage. Now, expose webforms as links for seamless integration into blogs, emails, and social handles. No webpage? No problem! Collect submissions effortlessly with the link format.
Two major enhancements in this release:
- Link and QR Code are introduced to the existing publishing formats.
- Actions on Submit button - Zoho has got you covered with a customizable splash message, a thank you page, or redirect to a custom URL upon submission.
Now, let's see what these new options can offer.
Link format
Exposing webforms as a link enhances accessibility, allowing easy sharing through various channels like emails or social media, streamlining user interaction and increasing engagement.
Let us look at an example to understand this better. Let's say you're running an email marketing campaign to gather customer feedback. You can include the webform link in your email content where recipients can conveniently access the form directly from their email.
Note: You can also say goodbye to lengthy URLs! We now provide shortened URLs for easy sharing.
QR code format
The benefit of exposing webforms in QR code format in Zoho CRM is increased accessibility and convenience. Users can easily access and interact with webforms by scanning QR codes, such as in events, marketing materials, or any situation where physical or digital distribution of QR codes is practical.
For example, let's say you're hosting a business event or conference. You can generate a QR code linked to the event registration webform. Attendees can quickly register by scanning the QR code with their smartphones, simplifying the registration process and enhancing the overall event experience.
Note: You can download the QR code as an image file and use it on printed materials, such as brochures or posters, to link individuals to the associated webform with a simple scan seamlessly.
Customization actions on "Submit"
You can easily share webforms in different formats and customize one of three actions for the submit button.
Thank You Page
Opting for a thank-you message redirects you to another page right after clicking the Submit button. This page delivers a confirmation, instructions, or any relevant details.
The thank-you page serves the purpose of offering users without a custom webpage a system-defined space to showcase a personalized success message post-submission. You also have the flexibility to customize the content on this "thank you" page, enhancing the overall post-submission experience for your users.
Note: You can customize the message using the text editor options.
Splash Message
Opting for a splash message ensures that the success message appears on the same page immediately upon clicking the Submit button. This feature is perfect when you want to present the success message directly on the webform's hosted page, offering a seamless and engaging user experience.
Form title Preference
Apart from the above enhancements, you now have the option to decide whether to show or hide the form name on your webform by checking the "
Preferences" checkbox.
