Zoho has now introduced the option to execute automation and process management actions on records right when they are been imported to your CRM account.
Yes, until now records were not allowed to undergo any automation when they are imported, but now it is possible to do so.
When you are importing records, there will be an option to trigger automation and process management. If this option is checked the records will undergo actions mentioned in Workflow rules, Approval process, Review process, Blueprint, and CommandCenter.
These actions will be performed on records that have been created or updated through import.
Take note of these important points:
- The Trigger automation and process management option will be displayed only if there are less than 10,000 rows in the import file. If you are unable to view the option it means your import file has more than 10,000 rows.
- The automation process may not necessarily complete once the records are imported. It may take time to complete the automation.
PS: Zoho opening this feature gradually therefore it will be currently available only for a few accounts. In a few weeks' time, it will be available for all our users.
